Mobile company hoarding interrupts rail traffic
Ambala, Oct 10 (UNI) Rail traffic on the Ambala-Saharanpur track remained interrupted for about two hours today when a large sized hoarding of a mobile company installed near Bandhunagar near Ambala Cantonment railway station fell on the overhead high tension electricity wires.
The wires snapped, following which the working on the rail line was effected. The hoarding fell when it was being replaced.
A number of trains including express trains were delayed till the wires were repaired and working on the track was restored.
The Railway Protection Force has registered a case against the mobile company which would have to pay for the damage to railway property.
