Missing girl's corpse found

Tikamgarh, MP, Oct 10 (UNI) In what appears to be a case of human sacrifice, the beheaded corpose of a 1.5-year-old girl, who was missing since September 27, was found today, police said today.

The corpse of Dayaram Prajapati's daughter Neelu was found from a farm at Rampura village in this district.

Besides the head, other parts of the body were severed, while clothes, 'tabij (necklace)' and other items belonging to the girl were discovered raising suspicion that she had been sacrficed.

Significantly, she had gone missing on September 27, during the Navdurga festival.

However, Town Inspector Raghavbhushan suspected that some animal took away the girl and mauled her.
