Manipur gears up to greet Dr Kalam

Imphal, Oct 10 (UNI) The Manipur government is gearing up to welcome President APJ Kalam, who is scheduled to visit here on October 16.

Dr Kalam is expected to address the 10th convocation of Manipur University. He would also make a trip to Exotic Juice Limited at Mao, Senapati district, and then go to Bungmual High School in Churachandpur district.

The convocation would be the first after the university was upgraded to a Central University recently.

Dr Kalam will also interact with the students of Bungmual school.

The state government has started finalising the list of all those who will attend the functions.

The President would return to New Delhi on the same day.
