K'taka Governor condoles death of ex-Union Minister

Bangalore, Oct 10 (UNI) Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi today expressed shock over the sudden demise of former Union Minister G Ravindra Varma in New Delhi.

In a condolence messege here, he said Mr Verma, who had served as Labour Commission Chairman, had carved a niche for himself in the hearts and minds of an important section of society. A person of amiable nature and an eloquent speaker, he was respected for his personal integrity and work by all sections of political opinion. He was a true Gandhian, he added.
