Journalist Kammaran Nair dead

Kozhikode, Oct 10 (UNI) Journalist and Writer Mekkunnath Kammaran Nair died at his residence, near here, today following prolonged illness.

He was 82. Mr Nair is survived by wife Sarada, a son and two daughters.

Mr Nair, who was a member of the Editorial Board of the Malayalam Daily Deshabhimani from 1967 to 1986, was also an associate editor of the daily's Kozhikode edition.
