First dengue death in West Bengal

Purulia, Oct 10 (UNI) The first death from dengue in West Bengal was reported today from the Bankura district of West Bengal.

Two minor boys suffering from dengue died at the Bankura Medical College and Hospital this morning, Purulia's Chief Medical Officer, Dr B B Patra told reporters here.

The boys from Lakda and Kenda blocks were referred to the Bankura Medical College because of lack of medical facilities here, Dr Patra said.
