Farmers Assn stage demo to press demands

Puducherry, Oct 10 (UNI) The CPI affiliated Puducherry Agriculturists Association today took out a procession and staged a demonostration in front of the Legislative Assembly to press their demands.

They were demanding, among other things, setting up of a welfare board for agriculturists and farm labourers, enhancement of procurement price of milk to Rs 15 per litre and free power supply to agriculturists here.
