Chandigarh school to play Nepal school in Subroto Cup sub-jr final

New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) Government Model Higher Secondary School, Sector 42 Chandigarh, will play Allied Co-Education School, Kathmandu, in the sub-juniors (under 14) final of the Subroto Cup football tournament here tomorrow.

In the second semi-final today, the Chandigarh school beat Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan, Dhaka, by a solitary goal with Baljinder Singh scoring the all-important goal in the 31st minute of the match.

The Kathmandu school defeated Mizo Higher Secondary School, Aizwal, by the same margin in the first semi-final yesterday.
