Blair showers praises on Manmohan

London, Oct 10 (UNI) Britrish Prime Minister Tony Blair today showered praises on his counterpart Manmohan Singh describing him ''an intellectual and a practical man with courage''.

''It is an unsual combination,'' Mr Blair said at the outset of a joint press conference after his meeting with Dr Singh at 10, Dawning Street.

Both Dr Singh and Mr Blair held discussion on various issues as part of a bilateral meeting every year.

On strengthening strategic partnership between India and the UK, Mr Blair said Dr Singh was committed to bolster the strategic partnership between the two countries.
