Mumbai, Oct 9 (UNI) Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana, which had stated that it was shocking to see the admamant behaviour from Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari and even described him as the ''killer of the alliance,'' today began toning down its vitriol noting ''we are ready to give such ten Chimur seats to our partner for the sake of Hindutva.'' But coming down from its agressive stard, today's Saamana editorial carried the title ''Disaster gone - late alliance get more strength.'' Sena chief Bal Thackeray is the Editor of this daily, while Sena MP Sanjay Raut is its executive editor.

The editorial said currently the politics of alliance was going on everywhere and every party tried to get a bigger share and there is nothing wrong in this.

''Sena-BJP alliance came into existence for the sake of Hindutva.

As the place of old knowledgeble people is now taken by the new brigade, some differences are bound to occur,'' it added.

The observation carries significance as late Mahajan and Shiv sena Chief Mr Thackeray enjoyed excellent rapport but the same was not prevailing now among Mr Gadkari and Mr Gopinath Munde and Mr Uddhav Thackeray himself, according to political observers.

At the end, the editorial said that now all the efforts should be made by the workers of both the parties for the victory of alliance candidate.

The two by elections of Chimur and Daryapur both in Vidarbha are due in next month. Both the seats fell vacant as the sitting Sena MLAs resigned from the house and joined the Congress.
