Tata Power awarded as the 'Most Admired Organisation'

New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) Tata Power Co Ltd, India's largest private sector power utility, has been awarded as the 'Most Admired Organisation in Private/Joint Sector' in a poll conducted by Powerline among a selected group of eminent industry experts across the country.

The award was presented by Union Minister of Power Sushilkumar Shinde and was received by Tata Power Director Adi Engineer on behalf of the company.

''Tata Power has always been committed to excellence and will continue to significantly contribute towards the growth and development of power sector in the country,'' said Mr Engineer.

Tata power has presence in all areas of power sector-generation (thermal, hydro, solar and wind), transmission and distribution.
