Sufi singer Wadali brothers injured in collision

Amritsar, Oct 9 (UNI) Noted sufi singer Puran Chand Wadali, his brother Payare Lal and three other members of their troupe were injured when a van carrying them collided with truck near Manawalla in Amritsar district early this morning.

Mr Puran Chand, a Padam Shri awardee, sustained minor injuries while Payera Lal suffered nasal fracture in the collision. Three other artists received multiple injuries.

The injured were admitted to a private hospital here where their condition was stated to be out of danger. The entire troupe was going to Dehra Doon.
