Portfolios of IAS officers changed

Puducherry, Oct 9 (UNI) Puducherry Lt Governor Mukut Mithi today reallocated portfolios of the IAS officers in the Union Territory.

According to an offical release Chief Secretary Pradeep Mehra shall hold Confidential and Cabinet Department, General Administration Department, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Home (Excluding fire service), Enforcement Cell, Administrative Reforms Wing, Departmental Enquiries, Freedom Fighters Cell and Vigilance relieving Mr B V Selvaraj of the charge of Vigilance.

Following are the portfolios of other officials: B V Selvaraj- (Development Commissioner) Education, Art and Culture, Planning and Research, Economics, Statistics and Agriculture relieving Mr Mehra, D C Sahoo and Anbarasu of these charges.

Mr C V S Rama Rao-Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare and Fire Service relieving A K Chaturvedi.

A K Chaturvedi-Co-Ordinating Secretary (Civic Elections), Local Administrations, Finance, Commercial Taxes and Accounts and Treasuries relieving Mr Mehra.

A C Verma-Transport, Town and Country Planning, Housing, Power, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Labour, Industries and Commerce relieving A K Chaturvedi.

A Anbarasu- Public Works, Cooperation, Tourism, Stationary and Printing, Information and Publicity, Science and Technology, Enviornment and Port relieving Mr Mehra.

T M Balakrishnan-Social Welfare, Adi Dravidar Welfare, Women and Child Development, Health, Revenue, Registration, Survey and Land Records, Excise, Temple Administration and Wakfs relieving Mr Chaturvedi.

D C Sahoo-Rural Development, Information Technology and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Chairman DRDA, Chairman Puducherry Society for the care of the aged and Chairman Puducherry Experimental Solar Pondy Project relieving Mr Chaturvedi.
