PM mourns death of Kanshi Ram

New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh mourned the death of Bahujan Samaj Party founder Kanshi Ram who died following a heart attack early today.

In his condolence message, he said he was an important voice of Dalits.

Kanshi Ram died at BSP chief Mayawati's 11, Humayun Road residence at around 0100 hrs where he had been living after a long hospitalisation.
