MP political leaders condole Kanshi Ram's demise

Bhopal, Oct 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ishwardas Rohani, his deputy Hazarilal Raghuvanshi and leaders of political parties today condoled the death of BSP founder Kanshi Ram in New Delhi late last night.

In his message, Mr Rohani said Mr Kanshi Ram had dedicated himself for the cause and upliftment of the downtrodden. His has left an indelible mark on politics in independent India.

''A leader to fight for the cause of downtrodden in no longer between us,'' he said.

Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Hazarilal Raghuvanshi also expressed his condolence.

State Gondwana Ganatantra Party President Gulzar Singh Markam and state Rashtriya Samanta Dal President Sukhlal Khushwah, while addresing a meeting at respective party headquarters, said Mr Kanshi Ram had worked tirelessly for the welfare and uplift of Dalits and the downtrodden throughout his life.
