Ranchi, Oct 09 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court today directed the IG Administration, DSP (CID) and the Investigating Officers to appear on October 13 and file separate affidavit regarding the withdrawal arrest warrant against MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi.

Shahi was again denied entry into the UPA backed Koda Cabinet for the second time yesterday after being unable to take the September 24.

A division bench of Chief Justice Muthusamy Karpagavinaygam and Justice M.Y.Eqbal passed the order while hearing a writ petition of its own motion.

The court took this serious move after reading news published in the dailies as how could IG (Administration) stay the arrest warrant of the Gharwa MLA Shahi issued by judicial magistrate.

''We are not concerned about the case but about the section under which the IG has stayed the arrest warrant. If the allegations against him is found true then he would face the charges of contempt of court,'' Advocate general S B gadodia appearing on behalf of the s state, contended.

On October 6, Chief Minister Madhu Koda had assured Mr Shahi to induct him in the next Cabinet expansion as all the warrants against him had been withdrawn.
