Girl, found unconcious in train, dies in hospital

Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 9 (UNI) Rajamani, the girl who was found unconscious in the Krishna Express some days ago, succumbed to her injuries in the MGM Hospital here today.

The girl was admitted to the hospital by the crew of a TV Channel who found her abandoned in the train. On examination, doctors found that she had been gang-raped.

Superintendent of Police of the District Sowmya Mishra told newspersons that despite intense efforts, police could not trace the parents or any relatives of the girl.

Hence the department itself was performing the last rites, she added.
