Cannabis on 7.5 hectares of land in south Kashmir destroyed
Srinagar, Oct 9 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have destroyed cannabis spread over 150 kanals (7.5 hectares) of land in two villages of Pulwama district.
A police spokesman said bang (cannabis) cultivation spread over 150 kanals of land in Wachi and Safnagri villages of south Kashmir was destroyed.
He said efforts were on to discourage the farmers not to cultivate the crop in their fields.
