Another humid day in Delhi, slight drop in mercury
New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) Dry conditions continued to prevail in Delhi today even as cool Northwesterly winds brought some relief from humid conditions of the past few days.
The Northwesterlies led to a drop in maximum temperature from 36.2 degrees Celsius yesterday, to 35.7 degrees C today.
The Minimum temperature also dropped to 23 degrees C today.
It was another predominantly sunny day with the dry weather, which has been witnessed in the capital over the last ten days, continued today.
The dryness in the air is likely to persist over the next week with the South West Monsoon withdrawing from some more parts of North West India last Wednesday.
Following its exit from several parts of West Uttar Pradesh and East Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, the Monsoon has now withdrawn from almost the entire North West India.
All of which means that the dry spell could continue in NorthWest India in the coming week.
For Delhi, weathermen have forecast a mainly clear sky during the next 24 hours.
