Abdul Hakkeem to lead Kerala in Santosh trophy

Kochi, Oct 9 (UNI) State Bank of Travancore (SBT)'s striker Abdul Hakkeem will lead the Kerala team in the second phase of the 61st Santosh Trophy National Football Champioship to be held from October 14 to 25 at Gurugaon in Haryana.

SBT is a potent force in the squad with seven players, followed by Titanium with four players and Kerala State Electricity Board with three players in the 20-member team.

The team with six newcomers was coached by K Bharathan.

The five-time champion, semi-finalists in the last championship which was won by Goa, will kickstart its campaign on October 15.
