AB to open Rural Development Institute in Hyderabad
Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 9 (UNI) Andhra Bank, General Manager, A L Nageswara Rao today said the bank would soon establish a State level Institute of Rural Development at Hyderabad to impart higher level training to rural youth in vocational courses.
Talking to newspersons here at Andhra Bank Institute of Rural Development (ABIRD) on the occasion of its first anniversary, he said the State Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would allot 25 acres of land for the Institute.
Mr Rao said the (ABIRD) established in 1989, had so far imparted training to 50,000 youth in various vocational courses.
The bank has decided to sanction loans to the tenancy farmers, he added.
