Yediyurappa denies Sangh Parivar hand behind violence in Mangalore

Shimoga, Oct 8 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today denied hands of the Hindu organisation, including Bajrang Dal and Sangh Parivar, behind communal violence which claimed two lives and more than 100 injured in Mangalore City and Ullal since last four days.

Addressing newsmen here, he said that police are investigating and he was confident of culprits would be punished.

Mr Yediyurappa said that according to report received by the State government Congress hand was seen behind the riots witnessed during funeral procession of Kannada Matinee idol Rajkumar in which eight people were killed in Bangalore in April.
