Woman killed, 5 injured in mound collapse

Lucknow, Oct 8: A woman was killed and five others were injured after a mound of mud fell on them in Lalitpur district.

The incident took place in Jakhlon town, where Raj Kumari, Guddi, Meva, Nazma, Jamnia and Kumari Kanti went to collect mud near a pond yesterday.Suddenly, the mound collapsed and they got trapped in the debris.By the time, people came to their rescue, Raj Kumari had died, police today said.

Meanwhile, the injured were rushed to hospital.
