Trials on to select J

Srinagar, Oct 8 (UNI) The trials for selecting the cricket team from Jammu and Kashmir for the C K Naidu under-22 tournament, beginning October 13 at Patiala, are already on.

In a notice, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket association (JKCA) honorary secretary general Salim Ahmed Khan said cricketers from the state should immediately report for nets everyday at 1400 hrs at the Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium here.

He said that a BCCI-trained coach, Idrees, is in charge of the nets and he would assisted by Qayoom Khan and Mushtaq Ahmad Rather.

The final selection would take place here on October 9.
