Rains lash part of Rayalaseema

Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) Rain occured at a few places over Rayalaseema and at isolated places over Telangana while weather remained mainly dry over coastal Andhra Pradesh, according to weather office here today.

The chief amounts of rainfall were recorded in Anantapur (3 cm), Mancherial (2 cm) and Arogyavaram (1 cm).

The maximum temperatures felt at a few places over Rayalaseema and changed little over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana yesterday.

They were significantly above normal at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at many places over Telangana and normal over Rayalaseema.

The highest maximum temperature of 37 degrees celsius was recorded at Kakinada, Tuni and Ongole, the office said.
