Government has failed to take firm decision on Shoba Yatra:Bangarapp
Udupi, Oct 8 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Samajawadi Party State President S Bangarappa today alleged that the Janata Dal (Secular) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition government has failed to take decision on banning the proposed 'Shobha Yatra' by Bajrang Dal in Bababudanagiri.
Addressing a public meeting here, he said that "the government unable to take decision independently has passed the responsibility to the District Administration. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy yielding to the pressure by his coalition partner BJP and by this act he has thrown all democratic norms to winds".
Stating that his party would contest in the next election independently, Mr Bangarappa alleged that the Congress has deceived the people by indulging in defection activities, while BJP has deceived the Minority sections. "Congress would be the main rival in the next Assembly elections in the State", he added.
