Cong promises corruption-free govt in Mizoram

Aizawl, Oct 8: Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee president Lal Thanhawla has assured the people here for a corruption-free government once their party comes into power in the state.

Speaking at a Congress Youth Leaders Meet here on Thursday, Mr Thanhawla said a Congress government in the state would ensure that Central schemes are transparently implemented.

Mr Thanhawla said the party would establish a Youth Commission for the welfare and empowerment of the youth.

Indian Youth Congress Chandan Yadav, who was present at the meet, said the Congress had the maximum number of young politicians among all the political parties.

Mr Yadav lambasted the ruling Mizo National Front(MNF) government, that the party had no visions and are working for their own vested interests.
