Aircraft crash lands, pilot injured

Krishnagiri, Oct 8 (UNI) A two-seater aircraft crash landed here yesterday while taking off from a private airfield at Pelakondahalli near Hosur on the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border.

Police said the plane, soon after taking off from the airfield run by Taneja Aerospace and Aviation Private Limited, crash landed into a field after it developed a technical snag.

Pilot Capt Madhtha escaped with minor injuries. He was taken to Bangalore for further treatment.

No other casualties were reported.
