Woman delivers baby at railway station

Ahmedabad, Oct 7 (UNI) A mentally-challenged woman gave birth to a baby boy yesterday at the Ahmedabad railway station.

The woman was later taken to the Civil Hospital by the railway police which kept the woman in the labour room while, her baby was kept in the OPD through the night until this afternoon.

The police, however, came at 1230 hrs and took both the mother and her child to an undisclosed women's welfare centre, hospital sources said.
