State Congress youth appointed SLMVC member

Itanagar, Oct 7 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh government has appointed state Congress general secretary Likha Maj as State Level Monitoring and Vigilance Committee (SLMVC) member for effective implementation of state's Public Distribution System (PDS).

Earlier,Maj had encouraged the rural mass to take up agricultural and horticultural activities for economic gains through his NGO, Agro Gramin United (AGUN) The appointment was made in tune with the government's decision to celebrate 2006 as 'Year of the Youth' for develop state's youth force.

Recently Arunachal Youth Congress (APYC) president Likha Saaya was appointed as Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board's chairman.
