Somnath confers 'Suvarna Kerala Puraskaram' on Fed Bank

Kochi, Oct 7 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today conferred the 'Suvarna Kerala Puraskaram' on the Kerala-based Federal Bank in recognition of the progressive measures taken by it for the development of the state.

The award had been instituted by YMCA, Kerala chapter, in connection with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the formation of Kerala.

Federal Bank chairman M Venugopalan received the award at a function held at the Mahatma Gandhi Town Hall in Aluva, near here.
