Pay revision for private teachers

Raipur, Oct 7: The Chhattisgarh government has decided to give 5th Pay Commission payscales to teachers of aided private schools.

School Education Minister Megharam Sahu made an announcement in this regard yesterday while addressing teachers staging a sit-in here to press for pay revision.

''The Fifth payscale will be effective for private school teachers from October this year'', he said.

Reciprocatingly the teachers have also called off their agitation launched since September 15.
