Pay revision for private teachers in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Oct 7(UNI) The Chhattisgarh government has decided to give 5th Pay Commission payscales to teachers of aided private schools.

School Education Minister Megharam Sahu made an announcement in this regard yesterday while addressing teachers staging sit-in here to press for pay revision.

''The Fifth payscale will be effective for private school teachers from October this year'', he said.

Following the minister's announcement, the teachers also called off their agitation launched since September 15.
