New project to buil steel villages

Visakhapatnam, Oct 7 (UNI) The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RIL) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) Chairman and Managing Director V Sivasagar Rao today said a new project of building steel villages comprising of houses, bus shelters and welfare centres would be implemented.

Informing this to a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) team of assessors here which is on a four-day visit to the steel plant, he said an action plan was also drawn up to improve the life style of people living in and around the steel plant.

The CII team also discussion with other plant officilas the palnt's progress.
