Red alert to combat Dengue
Imphal, Oct 7: The Manipur Health department has become alert on the increasing number of Dengue cases in the country.
So far 47 people have died due to Dengue in New Delhi, official reports said.
Health officials here said so far not a single dengue case has been reported in the state.
The state's Tamenglong, Senapati, Chandel and Ukhrul districts reported a few malarial deaths recently, however, they could not be confirmed due to lack of proper diagnostic facilities, officials said.
As the cases were mosquito related, the health department had to press an alert button, they added.
