New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) The National capital today experienced warm and humid conditions even as the dry spell of the last more than a week continued.

Humid conditions resurfaced in the capital as the relative Humidity crossed the 50 per cent mark.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, which was nearly three degrees above normal while the minimum temperature was 23.

It was a clear day.

The dryness in the air is likely to persist over the next week with the South West Monsoon withdrawing from some more parts of North West India on Wednesday.

Following its exit from several parts of East and West Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, the monsoon has now withdrawn from almost the entire North West India.

Weatehrmen have forecast that monsoon could withdraw from parts of East and Central in the next two days.

''Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from East and Central parts of India during the next 48 hours,''the Met office said.

Dry spell would continue in NorthWest India and weathermen have forecast a mainly clear sky during the next 24 hours for the National capital.
