Haryana state games from Dec 28 at Sirsa

Chandigarh, Oct 7 (UNI) The Abhey Chautala faction of the Haryana Olympic Association (HOA) will organise the state games at Sirsa from December 28 to 30.

A decision in this regard was taken at the executive committee of the HOA held under the chairmanship of association president Abhey Singh Chautala.

Addressing a press conference after the meeting, the HOA president said that competitions would be conducted in athletics, aquatics, archery, badminton, basketball, boxing, cycling, equestrian, fencing, football, gymnastics, handball, hockey, judo, kabaddi, karate, kho-kho, tennis, shooting , table tennis, volleyball, weightlifting and wrestling.

The HOA will invite Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to inaugurate the three-day games.

The Haryana team to participate in the National Games in Asom from February 9 to 18 will be selected from the state games.
