Fire destroys property worth over Rs 15 lakh in HP

Kullu, Oct 7 (UNI) Property worth over Rs 15 lakh was gutted in a devastating fire that broke out in a restaurant in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh early today, police sources said.

However, no loss of life was reported in the fire, which completely destroyed the ''Cafe'' Restaurant at Jagat Sukh, about 10 km from here.

The fire was brought under control, four hours after it began at about 0900 hrs, by the firemen from Kullu town.

The sources said short circuit was believed to be the cause of the fire, adding that a case has been registered and investigations were on.
