Cultural activist killed in road accident

Palakkad, Oct 7 (UNI) Noted cultural activist Vazhoor Vasudevan was killed and another person injured, when the car in which they were travelling collided with a van at Mankara today.

Mr Vasudevan who was 63 was district secretary of 'Purogamana Sahitya Kalasamithi' (Progressive Literature and Arts Samithi).

The mishap occurred at Mankara when the car was proceeding to Palakkad from Ottapalam.

The injured was admitted to a private hospital at Thrissur.
