Cop suspended for dereliction of duty in Bihar

Siwan, Oct 07 (UNI) Police Superintendent of Siwan, Sunil Kumar today suspended a Sub-Inspector (SI) for dereliction of duty.

According to official sources, SI Maherndra Prasad of Hussainganj Police Station was prima facie found guilty of not following the court directive and also laxity in discharging his duty.

A local court had directed the police officer to file a chargesheet in a case but he had failed to submit it before the concerned court within the stipulated time.
