City based travel operator found murdered in Maharashtra

Surat, Oct 7 (UNI) A city-based travel operator who was missing since September 23, has been found murdered at Vani village near Nashik in Maharashtra.

Indrajit Gurav, who was operating his own travel firm, Bhagavati Travels at Dilli Gate in the city was approached by a group of five persons on September 23 to go to Shirdi.

Indrajit, himself drove the Travera car for his clients, police said.

When Indrajit, who told his family members that he would return the next day, did not turn up, even after a week, his family members approached the police.

During the course of investigations, Surat police yesterday received information that Indrajit's body was found in Vani village near Nashik.

Since the body was found a decomposed state, one can assume that the alleged murder took place some days back, police added.
