Autorickshaw workers stage dharna

Puducherry, Oct 7 (UNI) Autorickshaw workers owing allegence to the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) held a dharna on the Anna Saalai-Govindasaalai junction to press their demands, here today.

They were demanding among other things the setting up of welfare board, provision of petrol and diesel subsidy and allocation of houses in the governmnet's housing board buildings.
