AGP condemns ambush on railway personnel

Guwahati, Oct 7 (UNI) The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) today condemned yesterday's killing of 11 railway personnel in a terrorist attack.

AGP spokesperson Apurba Kumar Bhattacharya said, '' We strongly condemn the incident. We demand that the killers be nabbed immediatetly. '' Altogether 11 people, including six RPF jawans, engineers and other staff of private contractors, were killed in an ambush by Black Widow faction of the DHD near Lumding yesterday.

Mr Bhattacharya criticised the terrorists for the ambush and urged them to forgo violence in preference of peaceful negotiation.
