25 injured in UP road accident

Ballia, Oct 7 (UNI) At least 25 people were injured after an overcrowded bus overturned under in the police sation area here this afternoon.

The mishap occured near Narayanpali village, when the ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Nagara from Ballia, police said.

The injured were rushed to a hospital, where the condition of Surtiya Devi (60) and Vinda Devi (40) was stated to be critical.

A case was registered and hunt is on to arrest the absconding driver.
