17 rural tourist destinations identified in Raj
Bikaner, Oct 7 (UNI) The Central government selected seventeen places in Rajasthan to promote rural tourism with a view to attract more tourists.
The project intends to develop places like Gajner, Ratangarh, Kuchaman, Khandar, Mingarh, Talabshahi, Kama, Dundlod, Nawalgarh, Khetri, Alkhisar, Malsisar, Fatehpur, Laudwa, Eklingji, Rajnak, Kolvi and Juniya as rural hotspots.
The scheme is to enable foreign tourists get a taste of the rural life, culture and heritage. A firm in Jaipur has been asked to prepare a report of these 17 places.
Out of the 17 places, four of them are in Jhunjhunu district.
