XI Individual World Chess Championshop for the Blind from Oct 8

Panaji, Oct 6 (UNI) The 12-day XI Individual World Chess Championship for the Blind would be held at Varca in South Goa from October 8 under the aegis of the All India Chess Federation for the Blind.

It is for the time that the championship is being held in India but outside Europe also. It is organised once every four years.

More than 31 countries confirmed their participation so far, according to the organisers here today.
