Two ISI moles arrested from South Delhi
New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) Delhi Police arrested two Pakistan's ISI trained moles from Madanpur Khadar in South Delhi and seized sensitive defence related documents.
On specific information, Ali Rehman Jalal, a Bangladeshi national, was arrested yesterday close to Madanpur Khadar bridge while he was waiting for his 'associate', said DCP (Special Cell) Alok Kumar.
''His search led to the recovery of sensitive documents relating to the Army which he was to hand over to his contact.'' During interrogation, Jalal disclosed that he worked for a Pakistan national Mohammad Muzzafar Khan alias Mujji, who had been trained by Pakistan's ISI for spying in India and was staying in the same building where he stayed, said the DCP.
''He too was arrested yesterday.'' Five sheets detailing Army's functioning and a sketch of sensitive installation at Delhi cantonment were seized from his possession, he said.
''A resident of Karachi, Pakistan, Muzzafar Khan said he was given six-month training by the ISI to familiarise him with the Indian Army and its ranks and first came to India via Attari border in April 2005. In November he returned here on a fake Bangladeshi passport in the name of Islam Mia with the aim to carry out espionage activities.'' Two ATM cards of a Pakistani and an Indian bank, a fake driving licence issued from Hissar, Haryana, a PAN card, a Bangladeshi passport and a pocket diary with phone numbers of several contacts in Pakistan including some ISI people were seized from him, Mr Kumar added.
''Through the diary seized we are trying to get to their links in Delhi and elsewhere.'' UNI AN VD VC1915
