Three escape unhurt as car catches fire in HP

Una, Oct 6 (UNI) Three occupants of a car escaped unhurt after it caught fire at Basal Bridge in Una district of Himachal Pradesh early today, police sources today said.

The incident, which occurred at about eight kms from here when the car was on its way to Amb from Una town, was first noticed by a passerby who raised an alarm following which all the three occupants got down from the car.

The sources said as soon as they stepped down, the car caught fire and was completely gutted in a few seconds.

All the three occupants, identified as PWD employee Rajinder Kumar, NABARD Deputy General Manager of Una office, Kamal Jeet Saini and PWD Assistant Engineer Ajay Kishore, escaped unhurt in the incident.

The sources said a case has been registered an investigations were on.
