Nitish warns partymen of stern action for breaking law
Madhepura(Bihar), Oct6 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today warned his party members of stern action in case they broke rule of law and create embarrasing situation for the government.
After laying foundation stone of B P Mandal Engineering College here, Mr Kumar said his government was committed to establish rule of law in the state and no one irrespective of their position would be allowed to take law into their hands.
He said road constructions would be taken up soon on war footing soon after rainy season is over and assured of vast road network in the next three years.
'' Corruption is the main reason behind the poor implementation of welfare and development schemes. A system is being worked out to check the corrupt practices and ensure early trial of those invloved in these cases,'' he said.
Taking a potshot at the earlier regime of Lalu-Rabri in the state, he said NDA government had inherited an empty coffer but he would not cite it as excuse for poor execution of development projects and try to raise fund from internal resources as well as from outside.
He assured that below poverty line list would be rectified and funds would be deposited in the account of beneficiaries of Indira Awas Yojna(IAY).
Mr Kumar had also distributed agricultural equipments worth Rs 155 crores among 2746 beneficiaries provided by the different banks.
