Militant killed, one kidnapped in north Kashmir

Baramulla, Oct 6 (UNI) One militant was killed by security forces while one person was kidnapped by ultras in the north Kashmir overnight, official sources said.

They said an encounter took place between militants and security forces at Zainpora, Sopore, in this district early this morning.

A foreign militant was killed in the encounter, they said, adding one AK rifle and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.

Militants abducted one person Arin Bandipora late last night.
